Each year the George gives two local charities twelve months of fundraising — collections, raffles, events, the lot. The people of Plympton decide who.

How it works.
- Nominate. Comment on George's Facebook post with the local charity you'd like to put forward. Nominations close Sunday 18 October 2026.
- Round 1 vote. Every nomination goes to a public vote, Monday 19 to Friday 23 October (closes midnight).
- Top ten. The ten most-voted charities go through, announced Saturday 24 October.
- Round 2 vote. The final vote runs Sunday 25 to Friday 30 October (closes midnight). The two winners are announced on Saturday 31 October — Halloween night.
