Our function room — a private first-floor space with its own bar, air conditioning and a screen you control — for birthdays, engagements, christenings, club nights, charity events and wakes — and for business training days and meetings.

Terms, plainly.
Free if £700 is spent upstairs
A £100 deposit holds the date. It comes back to you within 7 days if £700 is spent at the upstairs bar on the night and the room is handed back in a sensible state. Under £700, your deposit is the hire fee.
The room is free
No deposit. The only charge is the bar staff, £13 an hour, if you'd like the upstairs bar open.
No charge, no deposit
Our thoughts are with you and your family. The upstairs room, or the quieter side of the main bar downstairs. Bar staff upstairs are £13 an hour.
£13 a head half day · £21 full day
For businesses booking a training day or a meeting. Prices are per person, plus VAT, and include the room and tea and coffee, fruit juice and bottled water, refilled through your booking. Half day is up to 4 hours (minimum 8 people); full day is up to 8 hours (minimum 12 people). The upstairs bar can be opened at £13 an hour. Paid in advance when we confirm your booking, with a full refund if you cancel with 7 or more days' notice. After your booking we'll send you a voucher for 10% off your next one, valid for 12 months. Community groups and charities still use the room free.
The small print. Final numbers 7 days before. Private parties: cancel with 14 days' notice for a full deposit refund. Business hire: cancel with 7 days' notice for a full refund. We don't do food at the moment — outside caterers and buffets are welcome; please let your guests know what's in it, as we can't take responsibility for food we haven't prepared. No drinks brought in, except a bottle for a toast by arrangement (£5 corkage). Refreshments for parties, wakes, charities and community groups: tea, coffee and water, refilled, £2 a head for up to 4 hours or £3 for a full day; fruit juice +£1 a head (+£1.50 full day). Live music finishes by 11pm and recorded music by 12.30am. Children stay in the function area after 9pm. Please leave the room as you found it; heavy glitter or confetti may mean a cleaning fee. For 18ths, 21sts and young crowds, anyone who'd like a drink shows photo ID (Challenge 25) and gets a wristband to be served at the bar, so there's no extra cost for door staff.
